I usually blowdry my hair str8 and flat iron it, but this style is hard to maintain in the summer; and it's making me get split ends. HELP!!!!

Try hair rods , it give you a very natural look and when it is humid or you are sweating , it won't fall or look a mess. After you wash you hair, get some of the water out, grease your scalp, while still damp, run some mouse or gel through your hair, and roll your hair with the rods all over your head using small sections for more curls. It looks so great, and is easy to maintain, spray a little oil sheen on it, and you are good to go!

You should buy salon products and when you take a shower or a bath try to brush before shampooing and don't brush when wet at all,wait till dry,buy an ionic blow dryer,and just buy some spray that lasts and smells good,I know how you feel.

What I suggest you do is wash and make small braids in your hair when your hair dries it will look wavy you can leave it out it looks nice. Also experiment you be surprise what you can do with your hair.

You cannot go wrong with twist! U can use your natural hair or add some kinky hair in to give it more length. It's good cuz it really doesn't require much maintenance, especially if u use your own hair. If u decide to add hair in then u should prolly learn how to put them in. Good Luck!
