Are Dominican hair salons better at treating your hair then Black hair salons?

I have been using a Jamaican Hair salon for quite some time now. I get a wash and a deep conditioner and then I get it styled. One day I was too lazy to go to my salon (in Brooklyn) so I went two blocks down to a Dominican hair salon in Harlem (where I live).

I must admit the whole treatment in their salon was better. My hair was washed and conditioned very well, roller set (not done in my salon unless it is a wash and set only) and was styled beautifully.

I have always heard about their salons but never took a chance. Has anyone had a great or not so great experience with a Dominican hair salon???

It really depends on the particular hair salon

The service you recieved at the Dominican salon was called a doobie wrap. Its very popular in the Dominican salons everywhere. The only difference in a Dominican salon and your regular beauty salon is the styling tools and products that are being used on your hair. Im a stylist in Atlanta and know about these salons first hand.
