How do I determine what kind of hair I have?? (Fine, Medium, Course, Kinky etc..)?

What's the difference???

I want to ask a question about how to style my Black hair , African American hair but first I want to know what kind of hair i have.....

How do I determine what kind of hair I have?? (Fine, Medium, Course, Kinky etc..)?

Do you have typically "afro" hair? That would be considered course or kinky.

Do you have have thick curly hair or really tight curls? Thats hair type would be considered fine or medium.

Most mixed girls (half black/half white) have fine hair. They have soft, thick curly hair. Most purely African-American woman have "afro hair" or tight curls.
