Long black hair......?

i have long black thick hair. i love to straighten it but. when i went on holiday i washed and staightened it every day and now im back it's just gone soo dry. i dont know what 2 do, and whether i should try a new hair style? can any one help???

I cut my beautiful long hair off for the same reason and regret it badly, perhaps have a trim and use a little warm olive oil on the dry ends every now and then to help keep it looking healthy. :)

ok, hot oil dose nothing to the core of the hair,, it just makes it "look" healthy. go to a beauty supply store like sallys and get deep conditioning treatments. use like every other day. but shamppo first because that opens the hair core so the conditioner can go in it. and once the condiotioner is in your hair adding heat like a blow drier on high heat for a few minutes also helps.

WELL, as we all know, straightening kills your hair! To try to help it, have a no straightening week. Find other hairstyles - headbands, ponytails, messy buns, whatever. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner every other night, and use the conditioner every night. Then, get a hair repairing cream to put in your hair each night, and let it dry naturally - don't use a blow dryer! This should really help your hair come back to life, and you can do it for as long as you need, each time you notice that your hair is getting messed up. Also, if you notice that your ends are really dead and split, try going for a quick trim. Here are some products you could use.

go to a salon and have a deep conditioning treatment done, buy a deep conditioning treatment to use every other day and stop straightening your hair for a while
