im looking for a certain hair style/color .. im not sure exactly how to achieve this look/texture .. the color is black but it seems to be like some kind of flat black or full without any shine .. im gonna list some pictures but im not sure if its the die and or the shampoo/haircare etc. also i need the die to be very dark and last a very long time .. only serious replys thx!

dax wax, for that texture. Then you can use any dye (has to be permanent though or it will fade, even after just first wash)

Hi you just need a flat black dye. When your hair is wet put a little bit of wax through your hair. Blow dry with brush upwards or hang yourr head upside down and blast with hair dryer. Then add a small amount of wax to hold in place.

dont worry black will never come out of ur hair thats the worse color to die it but ur a boy so u could always cut it or grow it out fast but yeah it will be dark no matter what but i dont knwo how u caould make it not shiny

You need to go to Sally Beauty Supply they have Permanent hair color by wella that worked good for me. They also different colors of black.

I dye my hair black regularly and I know from experience! Colored-black hair will quickly lose it's shine within 1-2 shampoos, unless u are using a shampoo specifically formulated to retain shine in dark hair colors. Any regular shampoo will do. U can expect the color to rinse out for days after the first rinse also, which is probably what makes the shine die out ;) Definately use petroleum jelly around the hairline to prevent staining of skin, but a good scrubbing helps and I also find that Stridex face pads help remove the dye on the skin.
